Rudi Bakhtiar is an Iranian American TV News Anchorwoman, TV News Correspondent, Journalist and PR Director.

Rudi Bakhtiar was born as Rudabeh Bakhtiar in Fresno, California, United States of America. Rudi has a younger sister and a younger brother. Rudi is Bakhtiari and from the prominent family of Bakhtiar, one of Iran’s top 40 aristocratic families and major Bakhtiari tribal land owners of South Iran. Rudi’s Grand Uncle was Dr. Shapour Bakhtiar, the great Iranian Opposition assassinated leader of NAMIR and the last Prime Minister of the Imperial Iran. Rudi’s Grand Aunt was Soraya Esfandiari Bakhtiari, Shah’s second wife and Ex Queen of Iran. Rudi’s Great Grandfather was Sardar-e Jabg.

Rudi moved to Los Angeles with her family at age 2 and then again moved to Iran with her family at age 5. She grew up in Iran until 1979 Islamic Reaction when she moved back to America. She has a bachelors of Science degree in biology from UCLA. She worked as a pharmaceutical saleswoman until 1996 when hired by CNN. She worked for CNN as a news anchorwoman until 2006 when she moved to FOX as a general news correspondent with various assignments. Rudi moved to FOX to change venue from being an anchorwoman to more substantial news channel positions such as correspondent. In 2008 Rudi had become the PR director for PAAIA an Iranian American Political Lobby Organization.

Rudi Bakhtiar’s hobbies are horseback riding, whitewater rafting, water skiing, scuba diving, snow skiing, and rock climbing, She likes to exercise and she is in to yoga. Rudi is also a fan of art and painting. She does some oil painting during her leisure times.
