10 Rial (1 Tooman) of the Imperial Era, Iran 1953 to 1959
Can you believe that back then they made currency (not coins) for 1 Tooman?!
On 1959 Tooman was under $ 7 because on 1977 Tooman was $ 7. Those were the good old days of the Iranian economy! Back in 1977 we used to criticize the Imperial Regime for Tooman being $ 7 and we demanded for Tooman to be $ 1 and equal to the dollar! We had no clue that one day in the future; Tooman would become worthless! Thanks to IRI that day is today!
