Folks I just had my second Ear-Skull Surgery yesterday and I am already up and running back to work. This was my third surgery in the last few months! Even though my friends such as Sam Ghandchi are insisting that I should take a couple of weeks off, yet work cannot be stopped. I try to take 2 weeks off.
Beside some of you who were aware of my surgery (Sam Ghandchi, Catayoun Razmjou, Lori Forouzandeh, Camran Mirza, etc.) I just wanted to let you know that I am still alive and kicking and made it through.
However, it was the most painful experience of my life. As you know, I have a high tolerance for pain and torture, but this was something else! It was like someone was banging on my head and ear with sledge hammer!
I had so much pain that they injected morphine to numb it! I had the surgery yesterday morning, I got home in the afternoon and since then, I have taken 17 Codeine only to handle the pain. Codeine does not work anymore and I walked all night long, could not sleep, could not even lie down, wide awake! Codeine is like candy and chocolate to me! It does not work!
Today, I feel better. I have this football cup, round thingie on my ear which makes it hurt more! I can’t talk because it hurts, so I must whisper (Low Talker - Seinfeld Episode)!
I should be healing after a month. It was a very sensitive surgery.
First surgery, they took out the tumor.
Second Surgery, they repaired the ear drum.
Maybe it hurts so much because the ear is still tender from the first surgery, a couple of months ago!
Glad to be home in IPC, but I am afraid I could be forced to take a few weeks off. If I do not respond to a pile of your E-mails, piling up in my account, sorry. I am in no condition to read or reply to all your e-mails. There will be a 2 weeks delay. I try to get to it as soon as possible. Even after my recovery, I have to do a quick few travels (business and politics). No time to waste.

Before I go under the knife. I definitely wanted to finish and publish it before the surgery and I did it. With Cat away in Africa, that leaves me to take care of the site. With me crippled, you must be patient because I can’t publish new material as fast as I could. As soon as I can, I restart publishing all the back material from the authors and new material from myself. Be patient please. Thank you for your consideration.
Anyhow, just wanted to tell you that I made it and still kicking. Hezbollah will be disappointed! They simply can’t get rid of Ahreeman!
