Remembering a great man, a friend of Iran, and the true friend of the Shah of Iran, Mohamad Reza Shah Pahlavi, when all his "allies" had abandoned him.

God Bless You President Sadat for staying true to your noble principles and for being a friend of the Iranian Nation no matter what, even when staying true to your principles put your country at danger. May your memory live on forever.

You are more faithful to this man than he would ever be to you, give or take some differences of political philosophy.

Hi Cam,
I think you missed the point and focused on a mere word that I used in my statement. Let's try to stay on topic. When I used the word 'faithful', I meant it to mean 'loyal'. 'Faithful' is not only a religious term in the West. You can refer to any dictionary to see that. It also means 'loyal'.

I see. Well, I meant it in the most casual sense. I thought it was clear in context of what I was referring to (Liberator's loyalty to the Shah). I still think that should have been clear to the reader, but yes - as you said - different words have different meanings to people. So, I hope it is clear now and you know that I meant loyal and that we can stay on topic now.
