Iranian Susian Soldier Early 6th Century BC

The discovery of the roots of Susa and Susians who were the first Iranian civilization going back to 8000 years has created a controversy. In this paper for once and for all I will resolve this controversy.

Susian Iranian War Horse Emblem

Scientific Historians versus Traditional Historians

Traditional Historians
Traditional Historians write history according to what they have learned from the stories told to them from generation to generation going back all the way to the Exaggerating Greek Liars AKA Historians. Traditional Historians have nothing new to say or write but the same old stories which they have learned in school and from their fathers and grand fathers. Traditional Historians view the history as Dogma and never changing facts which will remain the same forever.

Scientific Historians
Scientific Historians write history according to the latest archeological, anthropological, geographical, historical and scientific discoveries. Scientific Historians view history as a living and changing science. What today is considered a historical fact may tomorrow not be one. History changes and evolves like every other element in our universe.

When it comes to the Iranian history, we only have a hand full of scientific historians and a truck load of traditional historians. As a scientific historian, I do not recognize most of the Iranian historians as True Historians or even as Historians simply because they are not Scientific Historians and they retell the same old stories which have been going around for generations and all of these stories lead to the Greek Grand Liars AKA Historians such as Herodotus.

Anti Iranian and Ignorant Iranian Susa Truthers

Susa Truthers are an active group of so-called historians, trying hard to deny or revise the history of Susa as an Iranian Civilization. Throughout the years they have tried various tactics to achieve their goals, Tactics such as:

Tactic 1: Deny History of Susa
When first we talked about the history of Susa, many of these so-called historians have tried to deny Iran’s 8000 years history by denying that Susa existed. Of course this tactic has failed because we have tons of historical evidence.

For more information about Susa you can review various documents.

For more information about Susa Timeline read:

(For sources check the last page of each above book.)

Finally these so-called historians become speechless simply because they could no more deny the existence of Susa and the Susian History.

Tactic 2: Susian History was a Part of Other Ancient Civilizations’ History
Next, they tried to preach that Susian Civilization and Susian History was a part of Babylonian, Assyrian or Chaldean Civilization and History. This tactic also failed because down the road we have come to a pretty good detailed knowledge of these civilizations and we did not find any trace of the Susian elements in either one of them.

Tactic 3: Susa was Elam and Susians were Elamites
Their final tactic was to not deny the history of Susa but sell this great lie to the public that Susa is Elam and the Susian History is the Elamite History. This tactic has also failed because scientific historians and credible historical sources such as IPC are actively exposing these lies.

Ignorance or Intentional?

Now the question remains that why these people are actively trying to deny our 8000 years of history? Why are they trying to primarily deny the existence of Susa, secondarily pretend that Susa was a part of other civilizations such as Babylon and finally scoop so low trying to sell to the public that Susa is Elam and Susians were Elamites? Why are these so-called historians so persistent?

The answer is very simple. Two reasons, ignorance or intentional!

Many of these so-called historians are either not even historians or else they are traditional historians. They have no clue about the latest discoveries. Whatever they know is learned from the generations before them. To them history is dogma and never changing words of God! These people believe in the same stories told thousands of years ago. Many of them have outdated information and the rest of them upgrade their information from flawed sources such as:

* Wikipedia and Other Open Source Online Encyclopedias
Anyone can write anything in these online sites because they are open source.

* Online Websites
Anyone can write anything they want online and call it history. Do you believe in anything you read online?

* Unreliable Hard Copy Books
These books are written by any Joe Shmoe wanna be historian residing amongst the Iranian community or non Iranian community. These books are written with no research, no evidence, no backup sources and no science behind them.

* Media Sources
Various Iranian or non Iranian TV Shows, Talk Radio Shows, News Papers and Magazines stating opinion as actual history and backing them with weak and fabricated evidence.

So as you can see, anyone is now a historical expert. These historical experts are ranging from:

- Iranian Garage Based Satellite TV Talk Show Hosts
- Iranian 24 Hour Radio Talk Show Hosts
- Iranian Fled by Night Newspaper and Magazine Publishers
- Iranian Online Wanna Be Scholars pilling up nonsense in Wikipedia and other Online Encyclopedias
- Iranian So-called Experts in any field known to mankind
- And other In-tell-egg-chew-alls!

These people are in the dark because their information is outdated and they are dogmatic. They do not have updated information and do not care to learn anything new. These people are ignorant and are spreading ignorance to the public.

The next group of so-called historians are not ignorant but they are intentionally spreading lies. Why are they doing so? Because:

A) Anti Iranian Scholars
They are intentionally teaching lies to undermine Iran, Iranians and the Iranian History. They have tried 2 other tactics (stated above) and now are stating that Susa is Elam. They want to portray our ancestors before the coming of Aryans (Susians) as Elamites. Elamites were of Semitic and Hemitic Races so these people are trying to twist the truth and state that our ancestors were Semites and Hemites; therefore, we are Arabs. The reality is that Susians were not Elamites and they were of “Local Iranian Races” who lived in Iran before the coming of Aryans.

B) IRI Scholars
This group is also Anti Iranian and pro the AIOG (Arabo-Islamic Occupational Government) AKA IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran). This group consists of a bunch of Iranian or Non Iranian paid liars (Scholars) wanting to twist our history and portray our ancestors as Semitic and Hemitic so they can mix and mingle us with Arabs going as far back as thousands of years BC. These people are getting paid by the Half Breeds (IRI) or are Half Breeds themselves, so they are also trying to turn us to Half Breeds and connect Iran and Iranians to Arabs and Arabo-Muslims.

This group either Part A or Part B are stating these statements and documenting these books intentionally to destroy our civilization, culture and history, so they can politically and financially benefit from it.

Iranian Susian War Chariot

How do they twist the Susian History of Iran?

These So-called Scholars are well aware that we do not have the complete listing and timelines of all the Susian Rulers. These events occurred thousands of years ago and we have limited information about the era. We are aware of so far about 9 dynasties and a number of rulers who ruled Susa from 3750 BC to 539 BC (Susa Kingdom).

These so-called scholars mix and match, fabricate and add a great number of Elamite Kings (their timelines included) in to the list of our Susa Dynasties and shove these Elamite Rulers in between our Susa Kings. Then they create timelines for each fabricated king. Once they mixed these Elamite Rulers with our Susa kings, then they expand the number of kings in each dynasty to cover the time gaps between the reigns of each dynasty (these time gaps are still not clear to true historians), so they create a continuous timeline from 2000 BC onward matching the history of Elam. Then they claim that Susa is just another name for Elam.

We don’t have all of these so many kings in the history of Susa! Instead, we have so many vacant timelines with mystery kings in the history of Susa. Half of these kings shoved in to history of Susa are fabricated by Wikipedia Historians and Iranian TV Talk Show Historians! They have created a history of their own with their own fabricated kings and their timelines!

In real history, the names of more or less about twenty Susian kings are known; they belong to different dynasties, and we can trace the existence of conflicting races in Susa itself. This fact is further shown by the variety of languages, which are found written in cuneiform characters. However one fact is surely noticed that Kingdom of Susa was the first Iranian Kingdom of the local Iranian races.

The reality is that massive historical events such as battles, invasions and occupations had occurred during these time gaps (between dynasties) and these time gaps were in fact eras in which for instance one or more regional powers formed alliances to take over another regional power. For example Elam and Babylon formed alliance to take over Susa.

So these scholars fabricate a continuous timeline out of the true history of Susa to match the history of Elam. They mix a bunch of Elamite Rulers with our Susian Kings and they fabricate a false history and name it the history of Elam. Then they claim that Susa is another name for Elam!
What is the Truth?

Susa is not Elam and Susians were not Elamites. Simple as that. Before the coming of Aryans to the Persian Plateau, there existed local Iranian Races and Civilizations in Iran such as:

Susian Forces
L – R: Susian Assyrian Mercenary, Susian Commander and Iranian Female Archer

Iranian Local Civilizations

* Shush (Susa) Civilization (South West)
* Casia Civilization of Gilan
(Caspian Civilization established in South-West of Caspian Sea) before The Aryan Immigration.
* Kirmania Civilization of Jiroft, Kerman (South East)
* Kassite Civilization of Lorestan (West)
* Mannaian Civilization of West Azerbaijan (North West)

Note: Iranian local civilizations were of the local races of Iran, which had settled in Iran before the coming of Aryans. They were by no means of Hemitic (Arabic) races.

Susa is not Elam

Susa is not Elam. Susa civilization originated in today’s Khuzestan of Iran. Elam civilization originated in the north west of Susa in today’s Iraq. There were times that Elam, Kish, Babylon and Assyria invaded and occupied Susa. There were also times that Susa invaded and occupied Elam and Chaldea; however, Elam and Susa were two separate civilizations. Elam was a Hemitic Civilization but Susa was a None Aryan Local Iranian Civilization. Elamites were Hemitic but Susians were of the “None Aryan Local Iranian Races”. Many scholars out of historical ignorance refer to Susa as Elam and refer to Susians as Elamites. Due to this ignorance, these so-called scholars have denied the existence of the Susa Civilization as the 1st Iranian Civilization. Some of these so-called scholars twist the history due to historical ignorance but others do it intentionally. The second group are Anti Iranian Historians, so for once and for all let us make it very clear that Susa is not Elam. Susa and Elam were two separate neighboring rival civilizations.

A Walk through the History

In ancient times there existed powerful civilizations in the Middle East (Mesopotamia and South Western Asia), civilizations such as:

These civilizations were in constant struggle with each other. Throughout the history there were times that Susa was invaded and occupied by others such as Babylon, Assyria and Elam. There were also times that Susa invaded, occupied and dominated the whole region. There were times that Susa was the dominating power in the Middle East (technically Mesopotamia and South Western Asia.

Susa is a separate entity than Elam. At certain historical periods Susa was taken over by Elam, Assyria and Kish but they were not Elamites.

Important Historical Events

After the reign of the Susa Dynasty (1st Dynasty of Susa 3750 BC) started:

The Era of Rivalry between Susa, Elam and Babylon
During this period, at different times, the three civilizations were each dominating the other two and ruling the region of Mesopotamia and South West Iran.

Kish conquers Susa
Kish Kingdom of Mesopotamia (From time to time interwoven with Sumer, with Capital of Kish City) takes over Susa. Enmebaragesi of Kish 2650 BC conquers Susa.

Kudur-Nakhunta Sha (Shah)
About 2280 BC the king of Susa, Kudur-Nakhunta, affected the conquest of Mesopotamia and decorated his capital (Susa City) with the spoils of the towns of Chaldea; notable among these was the statue of the Goddess Nana, which he facilitated to be transported from Uruk [Erech] to Susa.

Susa Becomes a Regional Empire
After  Kudur-Nakhunta Susa basically become a Regional Empire (Mesopotamia and South Western Asia) dominating Elam, Chaldea, Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, Assyria and Kish.

Shutruk-Nakhunta Sha (Shah)
A king of Susa, Shutruk-Nakhunta, boasts of having devastated Chaldea, and of having seized the statue of Melishikhu; he records that he took some hundreds of towns, brought back several kings as captives, and built a large number of temples at Susa.

Shilkhak-in-Shushinak Sha (Shah)
Shutruk-Nakhunta’s grandson, Shilkhak-in-Shushinak, restored these buildings, where the statue of Melishikhu, the statue of Kudurru, and the statues of Chaldean divinities were placed, with all the precious objects taken from the towns of the Tigris valley.

Babylonian and Elamite Occupation of Susa
(1100 BC - 770 BC)
Finally Babylonians and Elamites understood that the only way they could dominate Susa and destroy Susa's rivalry was to unite as a united front against Susa! Obviously the plan worked and together they captured Susa and managed to dominate Susa between 1100 BC - 770 BC.

Assyrian Occupation of Susa
(640 BC)
Assurbanipal (640 BC) and his forces invaded Susa. Assyrian Empire occupied Susa.
Cyrus the Great’s Achaemenid rule begins in Susa (539 BC)

Susa (Shush), The History

Shush, including Elam (ILam) and Anshan were all neighboring city-states. Many times during the ancient history, Shush had ruled the other two; many times Shush had even ruled the whole Mesopotamia! That is why eventually Shush (City) became the capital of Elam, in different eras of ancient history. Karibu-Sha-Shushinak also known as Shushinak (3750 BC) was one of Shush's great kings, he built many temples. Technically he was the first Shah of Iran.

Susa City State
Susa Iranian City State (6000 BC - 3750 BC)
Iran has 8000 years of history, oldest civilization on Earth. From 6000 BC to 3750 BC, The first civilization in Iran (Susa) was a city-state and ruled by Governors. Some Governors were subject rulers of Babylon, some autonomous, and some independent. For instance, Shimbi-ish-Khuk Governor of Susa [Under Babylon] (Before 3750 BC) was one.

Susa Kingdom
Susa Iranian Ancient Kingdom (3750 BC - 539 BC)
First King of Iran (Persian Kingdom)
Karibu-Sha-Shushinak also known as Shushinak (3750 BC), son of Shimbi-ish-khuk (patesi of Susa, governor of the land of Elam), at First was a subject ruler Under Babylon, then he became an independent Sha (Shah), The Shah of Susa [First Shah of Iran]. Naturally before this period, there were Governors ruling Susa. Shushinak built many temples, monuments, a canal (Canal of Sidur) and wrote many inscriptions. Shushinak started the Kingdom of Iran.

Susa Empire!
Susa Kingdom expands to an Empire!
On 2280 BC Kudur Nakhunta, famous Shah of Susa, king of Shush done the conquest of the whole Mesopotamia, he took over Chaldea and decorated his capital with the statue of the Goddess Nana which had been transported from Uruk (Capital of Chaldea) to Shush. We can trace at least 20 different kings in Shush which at least belonged to three different dynasties. We can also see the conflict of races in Shush.

There were times that Elamites (ILamies) hemitics were in power, and then there were times that Anzan (Anshan) Asianics were in power, the mixture of Hemitics, Asianics, and the Local Iranian races was what made Shush flourish! Shush took the best of all three in different periods of its history.

There were times that Shush (Susa) practically took over the whole Mesopotamian Civilizations including Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, Assyria, Chaldea, and the Iranian Civilizations of Elam and Anzan. Those were the times which Shush ruled the whole region. There are stone sculptures, ruins of buildings, bronze metal works, jewelry and industrial art, and many other artifacts left from this civilization.

Karibu Sha turned Susa City State to the Susa Kingdom

Judgment on Karibu Sha

Karibu Sha had many negative and positive points; however, as the first official Sha (Shah) of Iran, he took primarily Susa and then the local region out of the Babylonian domination.

Karibu Sha built many temples, wrote different inscriptions (we have documentations on two), built an important canal (Canal of Sidur), built up the City State of Susa and turned it to the Kingdom of Susa. Karibu Sha built many statues and totems of Gods and dedicated many sacrifices and offerings to Gods, specifically God Shushinak. But the most important task of all Karibu Sha's tasks was that he advanced and established the first independent Iranian Kingdom, the "Kingdom of Susa". This is how we will remember the legacy of Karibu Sha.

Karibu Sha, established the foundation for "City State of Susa" to become the "Kingdom of Susa" which eventually later in times dominated the complete region of South-Western Iran, Western Iran and Mesopotamia.

Susa was the first Iranian City State and then the first Iranian Kingdom way before the coming of Aryans to the Iranian Plateau. Susa had a rich history of many accomplishments. At one time Susa created a Regional Empire which covered Mesopotamia, Western Iran, South Western Iran and parts of South Western Asia. At one time Susa dominated the complete region of back then the civilized world and cradle of civilization.

Susa is not Elam; Susians were not Elamites, Semites or Hemites. Susians were fierce and proud warriors. Susians were of local Iranian Races. Descendants of Susians are still amongst the today’s Khuzestanis, Bakhtiaris, Boyer Ahmadis and ILamies. Way back before the Aryans (Medians, Persians and Parthians) had set foot in Iran, Susians not just ruled the region but they established a powerful and rich civilization in the region. When Aryans came to Iran, Susa Kingdom existed and it was a powerful and civilized kingdom.

Enlighten yourselves to the true history of Susa and Iran. Do not allow charlatans to fabricate a history for us and portray our Great Susian Ancestors as Elamites, Semites and Arabs!

These so-called scholars must comprehend that if they do what they do due to ignorance, then we will educate them and if they do what they do due to intentional reasons to undermine our Iranian Susian Heritage, then we will brutally expose and crush them. Either way, we will enlighten the students of history, the history lovers and the young generation to the true history of Susa and Iran. Truth cannot be veiled forever.
