Racing With The Death! - Dark Persian Poetry

Postby Ahreeman X » Wed Jun 01, 2005 8:23 am

Racing With The Death!

Image

I wrote this little poem, a while ago ..........
This poem has been Inspired by True Events of My Life ......
In tradition of The Master "Edgar Allen Poe",
I dedicate this little poem to "Death", My Eternal Love:

...... I looked at her eyes,
and Death smiled back at me!
I touched her thighs,
and Death invited me ......

Racing With The Death!

There was a heavy fog,
It was a cold, dark and hazy night
We were racing The Night,
She was chasing me,
and I was racing The Death.

I looked at her eyes,
and Death smiled back at me!
I touched her thighs,
and Death invited me!

What is the color of The Death?
A Truck hit the driver side,
and Death almost took her away!
I looked at Death's eyes,
and Death whispered:
Your turn was not tonight,
I laid back, took a breath,
another night, she'll come back for me!
That's when I first met her,
Death my old friend!

We have met a few times before,
She whispered gently,
We have met before?
I questioned curiously!
Yes, curious one,
We have met quite a few times.

First time, we met at the old house,
The house with the white marble stones
near The Senate, back in Tehran, remember?
You were just a kid, so young,
You dove through the wall size window into the balcony
I was there to meet you, I reached my hand for you,
but The Black Dog jumped up and tossed you to the side,
your head did not hit the Iron Fence
You were showered with blood, from head to toe,
I always hated that Dog,
she was your Guardian Angel!
and I am your Angel of Death.
You were in state of a shock and panic,

So close, I smelled your cologne, I felt your heat,
alas, it wasn't your turn yet,
but I was ready for the trip,
a month later, I took The Black Dog, in your place!
You never saw me,
but I was there for you,
I reached my hand for you,
So close, but our hands never touched!

Second time, it was a cold, dark and hazy night in Jersey,
The Road was like a snake, crawling,
The Road was wet,
The Road was slippery,
and I was there again!
You were a young man then,
A rebel without a cause,
on your bike with the girl at the back seat,
you had to take a sudden front break, remember?
the bike's front wheel stopped, the back wheel up in the air!
you done a sixty degree,
this time the girl dove above your head,
it was almost time for her,
we had almost met in the dark,
once more, you were in state of a shock and panic,

So close, I smelled your cologne, I felt your heat,
alas, it wasn't your turn yet,
but I was ready for the trip,
a month later I took The Girl at the back seat, in your place!
You never saw me,
but I was there for you,
I reached my hand for you,
So close, but our hands never touched!

Third time, it was a brawl!
You were all grown, big and strong!
The boy was fighting next to you,
The Dark Men with Allah gold Necklaces were circling you,
The Dark Man threw a knife at your heart,
it missed and hit you in the bladder!
The boy covered for you,
You escaped with the knife in your body straight to the healer,
riding the bike, shower of blood, escaped again!
This turn around, no panic, no state of a shock!
You got used to it!

So close, I smelled your cologne, I felt your heat,
alas, it wasn't your turn yet,
but I was ready for the trip,
a month later I took The Boy who covered, in your place!
You never saw me,
but I was there for you,
I reached my hand for you,
So close, but our hands never touched!

Fourth time, was tonight
this time we met, we talked!
At last, you met me,
at last, I talked to you,
we know each other a little bit better now!
Next time, we will go together...

I smirked at her,
You don't spook me old lass,
sing this song for others,
I know the drill,
My life is a charade,
I have lost my faith in humanity, long ago,
I live a life of Horror,
I live in The Dark,
I live for The Night,
I am The Dark One,
I am The Essence of The Night,
I am of The Night,
You don't spook me old lass,
I live The Night.
she smiled,
Death smiled at me,
and gently whispered,

So close, I smelled your cologne, I felt your heat,
alas, it wasn't your turn yet,
but I was ready for the trip,
in a month, I will take her in your place!
You never saw me,
but I was there for you,
I reached my hand for you,
So close, but our hands never touched!

There was a heavy fog,
It was a cold, dark and hazy night
We were racing The Night,
She was chasing me,
and I was racing The Death.

I was running, jumping the roof tops of old houses,
I was running the streets,
I was riding my bike,
I was driving the get away car,
I was storming down the street,
and she was right behind me,
she was following just a few steps behind,
we started from a dark alley,
we went through the roofs, houses, old lanes, streets, freeways, roadways,
and back to the alley,
we ended up in a dark road,
it was a Dead End!
she caught up with me,

I felt a choking feeling in my throat,
something was choking me,
I felt cold finger bones with long nails pushing into my throat,
she stuck her boney hand with long finger nails in my throat,
she pressed, choked, pushed her nails into my Adams Apple,

her nails were in my throat, pressing hard,
I felt her heavy breath,
I felt her vibes,
I smelled her scent,
I know that scent,

I woke up breaking in an icy sweat
I woke up choking,
I thought it was a nightmare,
I am awake now,
but life is a nightmare!
I woke up with her nails in my throat,
it was her!
and it was real!
It was Death my old friend,
Death my eternal woman in The Dark,
The last woman that I shall meet,
The last woman in my life.

Good Evening old lass
"Good Evening Dark One"
We meet again
"Yes we do"
Is it time?
"I wish it was, we're almost there, but not quite!"
Not this time?
"I'm afraid not, but there will be other nights."
I am sweating like a Dog!
"You are so Hot, not to worry, I shall keep you Cold!"
One of these nights.
"We shall finally be together, and forever...."

I been here before!
We always meet in The Night,
My Eternal Woman and I,
We always reach to The Night,
I looked at her eyes,
and Death smiled back at me!
I touched her thighs,
and Death invited me!

There was a heavy fog,
It was a cold, dark and hazy night
We were racing The Night,
She was chasing me,
and I was racing The Death.

Shangri-La - Sci-Fi Persian Poetry

Postby Ahreeman X » Sat Jun 18, 2005 1:25 pm

A play in six acts ......

Shangri_La

Image

They say if you do not Dream, you will have Nightmares!
I always Dream,
then how come The Nightmare does not end?
The Past and The Present is mixed in a Haze,
what will the Future bring?
Once more, It starts ...
no Rhymes, no Tunes, It starts again ...

Act One!
Standing in The Night,
Looking at the sky,
Asking myself,
Alas, it seems like a distant horizon, light years away ...
Alas, it feels like an urge, yet miles away from this place ...
How did I get trapped in here?
How did this happen?
I started from Ariana,
I started from tradition,
I wanted to start early,
But no one told me when to run!
I did not hear the starting gun!
Has anyone shot the starting gun?
Did anyone hear the starting gun?

Once the Run begun, it become the Hunt!
We were the preys,
And then there were the Hunters!
We Ran,
and We Ran ...
Was this something out of a Sci Fi plot?
Was this real?
We asked ourselves,
When would it end?

... and then we ran ...
... and ran some more ...
I started from Ariana,
I seeked the Shangri_La,
I went towards Shangri_La,
I was on my way,
I had the means,
I had the vision,
What went wrong?
I asked myself,
Why am I here?
Why am I suspended in Gaffa?
Dunes of Gaffa ...
So Hot, so Dry and Red ...
Desert Sand, so hot,
Burning sun on the skin,
Canteen with a hole in it, torn raggedy pants,
and no shirt,
smell of burned skin, flesh burning ...
No sign of water,
Have you seen any water?
Who hidden the water?
Walking the desert, towards Shangri_La,
With a hole in my canteen,
I Opened the canteen cap,
I Risen it to my mouth,
Taken a sip,
Mouth full of sand!
I swallowed the sand!
Who took the water?
Have you seen the water?

Act Two!
Picture changed,
I'm walking the Dune,
Like a pilgrim walking the Dune,
... an unending pilgrimage to nowhere,
Started to run,
started late,
ran like a prey from the woods to the dune,
now I run the dunes of bright red sands,
The Doomed Dunes!
Screams of horrifying excruciating pain in distant horizons ...
Do you hear it?
Do you hear the screams of the Sparrows?
Do you hear the breaking of the wings of the sparrows?
Do you hear the calls for help in their souls?
Do you hear the screams of the sparrows?
Do you hear the screams in the night?
I hear them in the night!
I hear them every night!
I can't sleep any more!
I am wide awake every night, listening to the screams ...
Never ending screams ...
... and what do you do?
... and all you do is chanting in low tones ...
... sounds of low toned chanting in the air ...
... sounds of mourning in peace, in the air ...
... mourning in the air of the nights ...

Act Three!
And then,
Daylight hits me in the face!
What has happened here?
What is all this blood?
There has been a massacre!
There has been a slaughter here!
Sands of Red,
Skies of Red,
Rains of Blood,
Falling from the clouds of Red ...
Blood Rain falling from Red Clouds in the Skies of Red!
Showers of Blood,
Falling on my head,
Falling on our heads,
Washing my hair,
washes the dust of the Desert Dune,
From my eyes.
Oh Blood, Oh Blood, wash away the sands of the dune from my eyes ...
Oh Blood, Oh Blood, wash away the dust of the trip from my hair ...
Oh Blood, Oh Blood, wash away my memories of once Ariana from my mind ...
Oh Blood, Oh Blood, take it all away ........
Immaculated, infatuated, stoned, dazed and confused, staring at the skies of Red,
with faraway eyes ...
Skies of Red,
in the Red Desert Dune,
Then I find myself once again,
Standing on the red sands,
staring at skies of red ...
and again asking myself,
What has happened here?
What has happened here?

Why am I trapped in this picture?
Am I suspended in Gaffa?
Am I abandoned in Dune Land?
I started from Ariana,
My destiny was Shangri_La,
But no one told me when to run!
When was the starting gun?
Was there a starting gun?
When did we start to run?

Act Four!
And then we ran ...
... and then we ran and we ran ...
... and then we heard the drums .....
We heard the drums in the distant horizon ...
and once more I am there,
I'm in the picture again!
The drums are beating,
The Drums are beating loud,
Do you hear the drums?
The drums are beating for the sparrows!
Don't stop the drums, oh don't!
Don't stop the drums, don't stop them now ...
I don't want to see the Last Act!
I don't want to know the Final Act!
Don't bring down the curtains, Oh no!
I am still running ...
Running out of the Red Desert Dune ...
To Shangri_La.
Have you seen The Shangri_La?
They told us about it in Ariana!
Have you heard of The Shangri_La?

Act Five!
Shangri_La, O Shangri_La ...
Is that where Sparrows live freely?
Is that where Skies are Blue?
Is that where Moons glow at night?
Is that where Water is pure?
Is that where Sounds are not screams?
Is that where Music is in the air?
Is that where Red Stops and Blue begins?
Is that where sky turns from Red to Blue?
Is that where ...
.... we stop Running?

Is Shangri_La where we stop The Run?!
Is Shangri_La where we start the life?
Is Shangri_La where we start the beauty?
Is Shangri_La where we stop the silence?
Is Shangri_La where we start the music?
Is Shangri_La where we open the page from the book ...
.... where we closed it last?
Is Shangri_La where they told us it'll be?
... at the end of the dark road?
And once we hit the Shangri_La,
Will The Nightmare stop?
Will it End?

Act Six!
Now, on to the next act,
The Final Act!
But don't bring down the curtains, not yet!
Back in to The Night,
I am walking in the night,
I am a night walker,
I am a night crawler,
Night is cold,
No need for canteen,
No need for clothes to cover me from heat of the red sun,
No burning hot red sand under my bare feet,
Night is my home,
I am the Night Walker,
I am the Night Crawler,
Night serves me well ...
Oh, The Night and I,
We are old friends, we are one ...
I am The Night!

I walk the night towards Shangri_La,
I know I am on the road to Shangri_La,
One day, I will get there ...
I have all these runners with me!
We all started late!
We missed the starting gun ...
No one told us when to run ...
We passed many lands, many roads, many deserts and many paths ...
Now, we must still Run ...
Running in the Night ...
Towards Shangri_La ...

We started from Ariana ...
Our Destiny was Shangri_La ...
We got suspended in Gaffa ...
Red Deserts of The Doomed Dunes ...
Now we will Run The Night ...
We Run to Reach The Shangri_La ...
Have you seen The Shangri_La?
Have you heard of The Shangri_La?
I tell you, we must get there,
If thats the last thing that we do!
One day we will get there,
One day we will reach The Shangri_La,
I promise you,
One day soon ...

How Had The Persians Died?! - Epic Persian Poetry

Postby Ahreeman X » Thu Oct 20, 2005 8:15 am

How Had The Persians Died?!

His eyes were anxious and he was wide-eyed,
When I spoke of history, he got bright-eyed,
I shouted of glories and he sharp-eyed,
I sighed of defeats and he misty-eyed!

The class was over and he was still dissatisfied,
He quenched the average and saw the broadside,
He searched for knowledge, he approached the benchside,
He asked for more, a historical joyride!

He spoke gently, asked for an insight,
Teach me more, he demanded alongside,
Tell me of my Persian Heritage and my ironside,
Teach me master, be my waveguide!

He was my overqualified student, citywide,
He brought along a couple of friends, starry-eyed,
Together, enthusiastic, they asked me, bleary-eyed,
Oh Master, how had the Persians died?!

They sighed, where had the Persians died?
They screamed, when had the Persians died?
They moaned, why had the Persians died?
They cried, how had the Persians died?

They sighed, where had the Persians died?
Rostam Farrokhzad was his name, I replied, they freeze-dried!
Euphrates River, 635 AD, Persians won with pride,
Rostam roamed the battleground on the hillside.

Qadesiyeh, west bank of Tigris River, 636 AD, the homicide,
Rostam and Immortals fought to the final drop of blood, intensified,
It was a great day to live but it was shortsight!
And that's how The Rostam died!

Fall of Ctesiphon, 638 AD, the nation divide,
Victory came at Jalola, but it couldn't change the tide,
Piroozan and Hormozd tried, but they stopped to glide,
And that's how the Ctesiphon died!

Nahavand in Ecbatana, 641 AD, the world collide,
Susa, 642 AD, catastrophe and then the downside,
Persepolis, 650 AD, the fall of Zoroastrianism like a snowslide,
651 AD, and that's how the Yazdgird died!

They screamed, when had the Persians died?
651 AD, Fall of our civilization, it was genocide,
Choices were Quran, Sword, fly Iran or suicide,
Time was on their side, nation was forced Arabized!

They moaned, why had the Persians died?
Tragedies, excuses, mistakes, low moral and barbarians too vicious, nationwide,
Invasion, occupation, pillage, murder, rape, slavery magnified,
One nation under Allah, Islam's goldenside!

Blood and Tears, Polygamy and Pedophile, bona fied,
Better results than this defeat, would be Cyanide!
Bodies hung from trees, burning cities, corps on the seaside,
Islam's present for Iran, was much cut-and-dried!

Like a cancer, it covered the land of the petrified,
Servitude of Allah, Slave to Arabs, a great fungicide!
Group raped, forced marriage and concubined, were women's choices, statewide,
Fall of a civilization, destruction of a culture, slavery of a race, the foe had cowhide!

They cried, how had the Persians died?
Disciples shouted, how had the Persians died?
Disciples puzzled, immaculated, dazed and confused, doomed to this exile, confined,
Disciples demanded, how had the Persians died?

Thou shall not mourn the death of Ariana, I whispered to them dewy-eyed,
Don't take The Death as granted, don't be satisfied!
Oh don't ask me, how had the Persians died?
No, don't ask me, how had the Persians died?

Ask me, how had the Persians lived?
Ask me how had the Persians loved?
Ask me how had the Persians Grooved?
Ask me how had the Persians lived?

Ask me how the Persians live (I replied)?
Ask you how the Persians live (they inquired)?
Still lives some Persians?! How the Persians live (they inquired)?
Still lives a few, ask me how the Persians live (I replied)?

With anxious eyes, they inquired,
With tears in their eyes, they awaited,
Tell us, how the Persians live?
Tell us, how the Persians live?

With absolute silence, they awaited my reply,
Master, Tell us, how the Persians live?
Gently I broke the silence and replied,
Once upon a time, lived a man ....

Oh, Once upon a time, there was a fire burning in my soul, burning bright,
Oh Once upon a time, I had a Master,
His name was Kourosh, his fame was Aryamanesh ..........
Once upon a time ..............

....... and that's how the Persians live ...........
....... and that's how the Persians love ...........
....... and that's how the Persians die ...........

To the memory of our mentor and my master, Dr. Kourosh Aryamanesh ...........

What I Believe? - A Popular Classic Poem by Ahreeman X

Postby IPC » Mon Jul 31, 2006 7:23 am

Dear Club:

A True Ahreemanic Classic!

Image

Found another dark piece by "The Dark One"! Here is one found in dusty dungeons of IPC Archives! It's funny how it still makes sense at the present day! As long as Ahreeman is still missing in action and absent in IPC, and as long as we are still awaiting the reappearance of Ahreeman and the new IPC website alongside of him, so I see fit to post this old Ahreemanic tale on the "Old Bull's Beliefs" and general "Times and Life" of Ahreeman! Doc, please come back soon. The Dark One is missed! This one for all the "exiled philosophers in the night"! Please enjoy.

The Time - Sci-Fi Persian Poetry

Postby CR » Tue Apr 10, 2007 8:32 am

Doc:

I feel I was hard on you, but that’s not the reason I’m writing this post. I honestly write this post with sincerity in mind. I honestly think this is a masterpiece and I’m deeply moved. I shown this to a few professional poets and poetry lovers and they freaked. They were frozen and came to a halt. They were admiring the philosophical depth, artistic creativity and the metaphors. I think this is a masterpiece.

Racing with the Death!

I was reminiscing and digging in my dark old bag o Evil and I found this one! Here is an oldie but goodie. Here is the updated version. This is one of my darkest yet true poems. Read with caution and enter the web page at your own risk. Take the dark ride but reluctantly, thus you may never return from:

Friends:

Ahreeman is a controversial character. Readers either love or hate him but no one ignores him! Ahreeman maybe a lot of things but no one can deny his mastery in poetry. The Dark One can surely rhyme.

You are the first to sneak preview Ahreeman’s latest poem which will officially publish tomorrow. You get the first dibs to another Ahreemanic Masterpiece:

Hi People

BTW, I love this poem. I haven’t read it for a long time and I recently read it and enjoyed it. I think this is one of Ahreeman’s best.

Catayoun Afshar:

Found another dark piece by "The Dark One"!

One of Ahreeman’s best poems ever, and unlike Ms. Afshar, I do not believe it is a dark poem but on the contrary it is an optimistic and bright look at the future.

New 2nd Edition of the Classic Poem has published:

Atusa and Ahreeman

I revised the title of the thread; it's a better fit.

I agree it’s a wonderful poem but it's both dark and light at the same time.

Racing with the Death! – New Edition
Dark Persian Poetry

I looked at her eyes, and Death smiled back at me!

Image
Death My Eternal Love

This poem is one of my all times favorite poems of Ahreeman. It is deeply dark, way too dark but romantic, poetic and with finesse.

What makes me scared is that this poem is inspired by Ahreeman’s true life events and based on truth!

I never get enough of this poem. I love Ahreeman’s poetry but this one is something else. You can recite the new edition now available online. Enjoy it:

Racing With The Death!
Ahreeman X
1st Edition: October 26th, 2002
2nd Edition: July 26, 2016

I believe Death has a design!
So far, I have managed to cheat Death.
I have done so by discovering her design and being one step ahead of her!
Is it luck or is it my method of madness?
Time will tell how long I can keep it up, time will tell ……

I wrote this little poem, a long time ago ..........
This poem has been Inspired by True Events of My Life ......
In tradition of The Master "Edgar Allen Poe",
And Sadeq Hedayat, The Persian Allen Poe,
I dedicate this little poem to "Death", My Eternal Love:

Shangri-La – New Edition
Sci-Fi Persian Poetrty

A play in six acts!

Image

Shangri-La is one of Ahreeman’s greatest recitations. Ahreeman mixed Science Fiction, History, 3D Graphic Arts and much emotions, so Shangri-La was born. Shangri-La was a brand new concept in the concept poetry. Shangri-La is Ahreeman’s story, my story, your story and our story starting from dark days of Islamic Revolution of 1978 -1978 until today with an eye to tomorrow. The poem is futuristic both in concept and in destined meaning.

Shangri-La is an amazing classic which never gets old.

Enjoy the brand New Edition:

They say if you do not Dream, you will have Nightmares!
I always Dream,
then how come The Nightmare does not end?
The Past and The Present are mixed in a Haze,
what will the Future bring?
Once more, It starts ...
no Rhymes, no Tunes, It starts again ...
